As a Senior Salesforce Engineer at Zalando, you will design, build, enhance, and maintain existing and new force.com applications that will be used across Zalando in various business functions. You will challenge our status quo and help us define best practices for how we work.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• You will develop and perfect the architecture of our diverse multi org Salesforce Implementation, by contributing to discussions and decisions about architecture and development
• You will constantly strive to optimise our systems and motivate your team to do likewise
• You will foster sound development practices and ensure a high quality delivery of solutions
• You will contribute to discussions and be actively involved in the decision making of our architecture and development
• You will embrace and promote agile methodologies across the team

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

• You have 6+ years of extensive experience on Apex design concepts, Lightning Platform, HTML/CSS/Javascript, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud & Experience Cloud, with fluency in Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Design Framework and Web Services
• You have 3 years experience and understanding of cross platform development architecture with technologies such as Java, Python, Kubernetes and JavaScript frameworks (like Angular, React).
• You have experience in package based development, VS Code, SFDX and ability to analyse the business processes, Design the CRM flows in Salesforce, and also provide custom solutions for specific business requirements
• You have excellent conceptual and analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset with a desire to collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders and share knowledge.
• You have understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations in platform architecture, which needs to support large data volume limitations and follow best practices
• You have high initiative and intrinsic motivation for the further development of your own understanding of technical solutions and fluency in the English language.
